About Printer Test Tools
Printer Test Tools is a small, focused set of printer diagnostic pages you can print directly from your browser — no account, no software install, no upload.
Why we built this
Most printer test patterns online are either buried inside a manufacturer's support PDF, locked behind a driver utility you have to install, or so old and low-resolution that they don't actually tell you much about a modern printer. We wanted a place where you could pick exactly the test you need — a nozzle check, a color test, an alignment sheet — configure it for your paper size, and print it in under a minute.
Every tool on this site exists to answer one specific, real diagnostic question: is my color accurate, are my nozzles clogged, is my print head aligned, can my printer reach the edge of the page. We'd rather have a small number of genuinely useful tools than a long list of near-duplicates.
How it works
Every test page on this site is built as vector graphics and generated directly in your browser using JavaScript — nothing is uploaded to a server, and no image file is fetched from anywhere. When you click Print, you're printing a page your own browser just drew, through your own operating system's normal print dialog.
The paper size and orientation controls change which pre-built version of the page is shown; when you download a PDF or PNG instead, that file is also generated locally in your browser, not on a server. We never see the printer, paper, or ink you're using — only you can judge the physical result against what the page describes.
What we don't do
We don't ask for an account or an email address to use any tool. We don't sell printers, ink, or paper, and no tool on this site is designed to push you toward a specific brand. If a test page tells you your nozzles are clogged, our advice is to run your printer's own cleaning cycle — not to buy anything from us.
Who's behind it
Printer Test Tools is an independent project, built and maintained by a small team who got tired of hunting for a decent nozzle-check pattern every time a printer started acting up.
